The project covers history from the Big Bang to the present day. There are different sample curricula provided, depending on whether you want to focus on human history, cover the full timespan equally, and so forth. There is a shorter, six-hour version for the just-interested, or a full programme for people who want to do the whole course in a structured way. There are videos and instruction on how to teach the course as well, although you have to register for these. The site says “Register as Teacher”, but you can sign up as a home educator.

The course materials include curricula, videos and activities. The course includes science content, including the Big Bang, so would not be suitable for creationists.

You can dip into and out of the various materials if you don’t want to work through in a structured fashion.
